Evil exists?

During a conference with several university, a professor at the University of Berlin atheist, challenged his students with this question: - God made everything that exists?
A student bravely replied
- "Yes, He created!" - God created everything, right? - Yes, sir, - replied the young man.
The teacher replied: - If God made everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and considering that our actions are a reflection of ourselves, then God is evil.
The student was silent before such an answer and the teacher, happy, boasted had proven once more that faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said: - I ask you a question professor?
- No doubt, replied the teacher.
The student stood up and asked: - Teacher, does cold exist?
- What kind of question is that? Of course there is, you happen never been cold?
The boy replied: - Actually, sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object can be studied when it has or transmits energy, and heat is not the cold that makes such a body have or transmit energy. Absolute zero is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction, but cold does not exist. We created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat.
- And the teacher darkness, is there? - Continued the student.
The teacher replied:
- Of course, yes.
The student replied:
- Again you are wrong, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. The prism Newton decomposes white light into different colors that compose, with their different wavelengths. The darkness does not. A simple ray of light tears the darkness and illuminates the surface that the light touches. How do you determine how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present, is not it? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present.
Finally, the young man asked the teacher:
- Tell me, teacher, does evil exist?
He replied: - Of course there is. As I said at the beginning of class, we see thefts, crimes and violence daily in all parts of the world, these things are evil.
Then the student replied: - Evil does not exist, sir, or at least does not exist by itself. Evil is simply the absence of God, the absence of Good. It is, as in previous cases, a term that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. It's not like faith or love, that exist as there is the light and the heat. Evil is the result that humanity does not have God present in their hearts. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light. "
By the 1900s, this young man received a standing ovation, and the teacher just nodded remaining silent ...
Immediately the director went to that young man and asked what was his name?
And he said: ALBERT EINSTEIN

O Mal existe ?

Durante uma conferência com vários universitários, um professor ateu da Universidade de Berlim, desafiou seus alunos com esta pergunta: - Deus fez tudo o que existe?

Um estudante respondeu corajosamente: 
- "Sim, Ele criou!" - Deus criou tudo, mesmo? - Sim, professor - respondeu o jovem.

O professor replicou:- Se Deus fez todas as coisas, então Deus fez o mal, pois o mal existe, e considerando-se que nossas ações são um reflexo de nós mesmos, então Deus é mal.

O estudante calou-se diante de tal resposta e o professor, feliz, se vangloriava de haver provado uma vez mais que a Fé era um mito.

Outro estudante levantou sua mão e disse:- Posso lhe fazer uma pergunta, professor?
- Sem dúvida, respondeu-lhe o professor.

O jovem ficou de pé e perguntou:- Professor, o frio existe?
- Mas que pergunta é essa? Claro que existe, você por acaso nunca sentiu frio?

O rapaz respondeu:- Na verdade, professor, o frio não existe. Segundo as leis da Física, o que consideramos frio, na realidade é ausência de calor. Todo corpo ou objeto pode ser estudado quando tem ou transmite energia, mas é o calor e não o frio que faz com que tal corpo tenha ou transmita energia. O zero absoluto é a ausência total e absoluta de calor, todos os corpos ficam inertes, incapazes de reagir, mas o frio não existe. Criamos esse termo para descrever como nos sentimos quando nos falta o calor.

- E a escuridão professor, existe? - continuou o estudante.

O professor respondeu:
- Mas é claro que sim.

O estudante respondeu:
- Novamente o senhor se engana, a escuridão tampouco existe. A escuridão é na verdade a ausência de luz. Podemos estudar a luz, mas a escuridão não. O prisma de Newton decompõe a luz branca nas varias cores de que se compõe, com seus diferentes comprimentos de onda. A escuridão não. Um simples raio de luz rasga as trevas e ilumina a superfície que a luz toca. Como se faz para determinar quão escuro está um determinado local do espaço? Apenas com base na quantidade de luz presente nesse local, não é mesmo? Escuridão é um termo que o homem criou para descrever o que acontece quando não há luz presente.

Finalmente, o jovem estudante perguntou ao professor:
- Diga, professor, o mal existe?

Ele respondeu: - Claro que existe. Como eu disse no início da aula, vemos roubos, crimes e violência diariamente em todas as partes do mundo, essas coisas são o mal.

Então o estudante respondeu:- O mal não existe, professor, ou ao menos não existe por si só. O mal é simplesmente a ausência de Deus, a ausência do Bem. É, como nos casos anteriores, um termo que o homem criou para descrever essa ausência de Deus. Deus não criou o mal. Não é como a Fé ou o Amor, que existem como existe a Luz e o Calor. O mal resulta de que a humanidade não tenha Deus presente em seus corações. É como o frio que surge quando não há calor, ou a escuridão que acontece quando não há luz."

Por volta dos anos 1900, este jovem foi aplaudido de pé, e o professor apenas balançou a cabeça permanecendo calado…

Imediatamente o diretor dirigiu-se àquele jovem e perguntou qual era seu nome?

E ele respondeu: ALBERT EINSTEIN
